Nadia Sullivan, a Fillauer Product Specialist, took her expertise in anatomy and O&P and turned it into "Bonzart," a 20-foot skeleton that's become a seasonal landmark in Loveland, Colorado. As an amputee herself, she has dedicated her career to helping clinicians and patients explore new possibilities through prosthetic and orthotic technology. From helping people achieve greater mobility to creating a little Halloween magic, Nadia has a knack for making an impact in memorable ways. Handling plates, bowls, and mugs with the Zeus hand is all about choosing the right grip and positioning. Different grip patterns offer flexibility depending on the size, weight, and shape of the object. From the Key Grip for smaller plates to a modified Power Grip for heavier dishes, users can adjust their approach to achieve a stable and secure hold. The flexion wrist also provides additional positioning options, making everyday handling more comfortable. For mugs with handles, the Hook Grip offers another reliable solution, allowing users to hold them securely and confidently. With the right combination of grip patterns and wrist positioning, Zeus supports greater independence in everyday kitchen activities. Opening bottles, cans, and jars with a prosthetic hand requires the right grip and technique for each situation. With Zeus, users can adapt their approach to different containers, from applying a firm grip to loosen a bottle cap to using Soft Grip when handling cans. When pouring drinks, a secure grip and Freeze Mode can help maintain stability and control. A wrist rotator adds even more flexibility, making it easier to pour from different angles. In this video, Piotr demonstrates his techniques using the Zeus M hand with a flexion wrist and Fillauer ProWrist Rotator. Everyday tasks become easier with the right combination of grip, positioning, and control. This past weekend at the @hangernews #EmpowerFest event, athletes stepped into our Obsidian running blades and experienced the thrill of movement. For many, it was their first time running or jogging in years. The excitement, determination, and emotion on display were unforgettable!
