First of all this book cover is stunning and screams fall. I have had great reviews from other creators but mostly from Lottie. I am happy to report this did not disappoint.

It’s Different This Time is a second-chance book about June Wood and Adam Harper. A twist a fate brings the former roommates back to where it all began — a New York City brownstone they lived in for many years.. They have not spoken in over 5 years and, unfortunately, they did not end in the best terms. Then they inherit the million-dollar brownstone they once lived in. Having to deal with the paperwork that comes with it, they are forced to confront their past and finally clear the air between the two of them.

It’s really difficult for me to love a second-chance romance or even friends-to-lovers. However, I was thoroughly surprised how much I loved every second it. The pacing of the book was steady and I just love the friendship and eventual relationship between the two of them.

When the truth was revealed, it annoyed the heck out of me and I was furious at the female main character. HE HAD ME AT IT’S ALWAYS BEEN YOU🥹🥹🥹🥹
