Age gap and a cowboy romance? SIGN ME UP 🔥🔥

The last thing Noelle is looking for love. She books a vacation wanting to get away from busy work schedule. When she arrives to her destination, she runs into a grumpy cowboy and soon realizes she fell victim to a scam.

Shep might be grumpy but he does manners. With a snowstorm happening, he is not about to send her back to her city life.

Only one small problem...

There is one bed.

Ann knows how to write one good grumpy old man 😮‍💨😮‍💨 I loved the banter between Noelle and Shep. Once Shep started to get to know Noelle, he did whatever he could to make the holiday special. It was just such an adorable holiday romance

If reading a holiday romance physically or on kindle is fun, imagine just listening to it. I was lucky enough to read it last year so this was my second time reading it. The audio was so great with dual narration. The male main actor’s voice fit perfectly for Shep’s grumpy character.

I was listening to this in the mornings before work and on the way home and I was giggling. It was a good thing I was on my own 🥵🥵

Now the questions, where I can find a Shep?

10 Before The End✨✨

Am I delusional? Yes, but a girl can hope🤭 I have so many books to read and so little time. Here are 10 books I am REALLY hoping to get to before the end of the year. A lot of them are serious I need to continue.

Which one should I read next 👀?

Just like that... two months left of 2026. I feel like I still have so many books to read and so little time. October has been a busy month so I feel like I wasn’t reading as much nor did I read as many fall-related, spooky books. At least I started a new series, continue a series and read a new-to-me author.

First of all this book cover is stunning and screams fall. I have had great reviews from other creators but mostly from Lottie. I am happy to report this did not disappoint.

It’s Different This Time is a second-chance book about June Wood and Adam Harper. A twist a fate brings the former roommates back to where it all began — a New York City brownstone they lived in for many years.. They have not spoken in over 5 years and, unfortunately, they did not end in the best terms. Then they inherit the million-dollar brownstone they once lived in. Having to deal with the paperwork that comes with it, they are forced to confront their past and finally clear the air between the two of them.

It’s really difficult for me to love a second-chance romance or even friends-to-lovers. However, I was thoroughly surprised how much I loved every second it. The pacing of the book was steady and I just love the friendship and eventual relationship between the two of them.

When the truth was revealed, it annoyed the heck out of me and I was furious at the female main character. HE HAD ME AT IT’S ALWAYS BEEN YOU🥹🥹🥹🥹

Christmas came early 🎄🎄

As soon as she announces a new book, I automatically pre-order her books. She is my one my favorite authors, if not number 1. Cannot wait to get to this book. This cover is stunning 😍 😍😍

Can you tell my favorite holiday is Christmas‼️‼️

An amazing group of people that I have gotten to know over the last two months have said we can do hard things. They have inspired me to go out of my comfort zone and continue sharing my love for books on TikTok. Slowly I am getting comfortable hearing my own voice and am so excited to continue sharing content about books and also running.

It also led me to start a book club. I have been wanting to be a part of one for a long time but not many people I knew around me were into reading like me. Well now I am starting my own. No more being afraid.

Welcome to No Shelf Control. A book club for any one who wants to get into reading, reads here and there and book lovers like me. We will meet once a month and read a variety of genres. Each month we will take turns picking a book and picking a location where to meet and discuss about the book.

I am scared and excited!

Hope to see you there. by @beautyyinbookss

The Divorce follows Naomi Roth and her perfect life...or so she thought. All of a sudden Jeremy asks for divorce and kicks her out of their home. He drains their accounts and hires the best lawyers. When she finds out he is leaving her for a younger woman, everything changes. She is determined to not let her destroy her perfect life. What begins as cynical curiosity soon twists into obsession―and then into something far darker. As Naomi uncovers secrets she never imagined, she realizes her own life may be in danger.

The positive side of Frieda’s books are that they short and fast-paced which is what I kind of needed when I picked this one. Her books are not terrible per say. But her main characters are insufferable especially the female main character. As I listened, it felt so cringey that way Naomi acted. The middle picked up and liked it a bit better than the first half.

Favorite psychological thriller book? I feel like what I’ve been reading lately has not been hitting!

October’s Book of The Month Choice 📚📚

I almost picked the Romance one or the contemporary fiction one. Those are my safe genres but am trying to get out my comfort zone😂 let’s see how this goes.

September was such a great month. I celebrated my birthday pretty much all day which defnitely slowed down my reading, I also started a year-long medical course. So adjusting to that has been fun. I have been running more consistently and trying to train for a couple races 🤩
