Farm to Table, Kashmir.
I went to a village in Kashmir to shoot for my next project, and came away with something more than photographs.
As always, the warmth of Kashmiri hospitality stayed with me. In a joint family home, the bahu lovingly served us haak saag, steamed rice and aloo and we hogged as we were very hungry. The food was delicious and so authentic. After the meal, she showed us the very patch where the vegetables were grown.
From the earth to their kitchen — farm to table, in its most beautiful, pure and heartfelt form.
