Throwback to August, when I saw the Brussels Flower Carpet from the Town Hall balcony. 🌸🐾 We took the train from Amsterdam, about 3.5 hours door to door, and dogs are welcome on board. 🚆🐾

This year’s design, “Neo Hokusai,” reimagined Hokusai’s Great Wave with more than 750,000 dahlias, celebrating 160 years of friendship between Japan and Belgium. There was even a second, hops-themed carpet at the Bourse. 🇯🇵🇧🇪

Before heading to the Grand-Place, we took a coffee break at our hotel @thestandardbrussels. I was very interested in the coffee. ☕️
The Flower Carpet happens every two years, so the next one is August 2028. 🗓️

Verdict: Peanut Approved 🐾
