I’ve been spending a lot of time lately thinking about what it is I’m drawn to and passionate about, be it in my photography work, doula work or general life. What is it that brings me joy outside of being a mother and what do I want to spend my time doing? As I sit here editing with a huge grin on my face, I can say without a doubt how much I treasure getting to watch toddlers grown into themselves as children and teens, watching family bonds grow and transform over time, and the honor of families allowing me a glimpse into their lives. And how lucky I am that I get to experience these relationships in multiple ways? That is what keeps bringing me back to photography and why I want to prioritize it, alongside my dream of being a mother.
