This is my Día de Muertos ofrenda, made with love for those I’ve lost. In my culture, we believe our loved ones return to visit us during this time.
Today, October 27th, More and Titi will come visit me. 🤍 From October 28th to November 1st, we welcome different souls, with each day dedicated to them according to the circumstances of their passing.
November 2nd is the main celebration, when our loved ones return to share a meal with us as we celebrate their lives and cherish their memory. The following day, they return to Mictlán—the land of the dead—until we welcome them home again next year. 🕯️
