Well, it’s backfired…
I with out a doubt want to raise girls who have opinions.
Who know what they want, know their worth, speak their minds and aren’t afraid to challenge things they disagree with.
What I hadn’t quite considered was my five-year-old applying these principles to bedtime, getting dressed, brushing teeth, walking to school and absolutely everything else I ask her to do.
I respect the confidence, darling.
I’d just appreciate it if you could stop cross-examining me before I’ve had a coffee and every moment after 😂
But seriously, I want my girls to be kind and respectful.
Not quiet, agreeable little people who grow up thinking everyone else’s opinions matters more than their own.
Anyone else raising the exact personality traits that are currently testing their patience?
