South Africa now issues an ETA, which is a much more simpler way for Nigerians to visit the country, unlike the difficult visa application process in the past.

While I’m super happy about this, my only question is: what is the catch? Is there a catch? 👀

Regardless, I have applied for the ETA, I have secured it, and I have created a guide for people who also want to apply. If you’re interested, comment ETA and I will send you the link for free.

PS: do u like my new look? 🙂‍↔️

Just a quick clarification for anyone applying for the South African ETA. At the checkout stage, you’ll see options like “Direct,” 3 months, 4 months, 6 months, and so on, up to 2 years. These appear to be payment options, not the duration of your visa or how long you intend to stay in South Africa. “Direct” means paying the full amount at once, while the other options appear to be instalment payment plans for eligible cardholders. So please don’t confuse the payment period with your visa validity. Selecting “Direct” doesn’t mean you’re applying for a shorter visa, just as selecting 6 months doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll receive a 6-month visa. Hope this helps clear up any confusion for applicants!
