In 2022, I started a tradition: beginning each New Year in a new place. This year, I took it up a notch to explore 3 countries in the Middle East with countless adventures, and memories I’ll never forget!

From Qatar to Lebanon, and finally to Egypt, every moment felt surreal.

I explored with friends, met incredible people, and even took on solo adventures. It was everything I dreamed of and more.

📌Save & Share📌 Have you ever experienced a delayed, missing, or damaged suitcase when traveling and it’s the airline's fault?

If this ever happens to you make sure you report it immediately at the baggage claim desk before you leave the airport. One you do, you’ll get a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) slip.

And the truth most travelers don’t know is without a PIR, the airline might not pay you a dime or repair or replacement your damaged luggage and your travel insurance won’t cover you either.

Next time your bag goes missing or gets damaged:
1️⃣ Report it before leaving the airport

2️⃣ Share every detail including your airline name, your name, flight, bag tag, color/type, etc

3️⃣ Get your PIR, it’s your golden ticket to compensation

Togo Camera Roll 🇹🇬

I found these in my hard drive and I thought to dump them here but again I thought to just show you all everything I got up to in Togo instead.

The night we arrived in Togo and checked into our resort @miadjoebresort, we honestly didn’t have plans for anything asides enjoying the resort.

Breakfast but guess what, we were super late to breakfast because we had meetings.

After breakfast, @im_wehmie said pose here, lemme take a snap of you and I love it

We went to @miadjoe for our sunset boat ride and it was a 10/10 experience and i highly recommend.

Golden hour activities on water will always win

Dinner date but pictures first 😁

Our dinner, we wanted a very light dinner and that chicken was everything.

We woke up to see the sunrise on the beach (actually, the sun had already risen because we overslept but it was needed)

Green tea to kickstart the day, I’m not sure who had the Zobo between @im_wehmie and myself

After breakfast, we rested and dipped in the pool later

We went back to @miadjoe and Wehmie went kayaking, I backed out and we had the best cocktail after

We had lunch after too

We went shopping in Lomé (after the third night, we checked into an Airbnb in Lomé) and when I saw this water, the only thing that came to mind was “inside that your Evian, another Evian dey inside” 🤣😁

Did I shop any of these tea? Take a guess

@im_wehmie has a tradition of running in different cities and I joined her

And as always, we were twinning in our @smileysocksco

Born ready!!!

We did it

Thankfully, our Airbnb had a pool. So after the run, we showered, then dipped in the pool.

I took a boat from Five Cowries Terminal in Ikoyi to Badagry for a daycation and found something that was very different from the usual Lagos getaway.

Think: traditional welcome, Nigerian snacks, a four-hand Swedish massage, lunch by the lagoon, and activities like kayaking and zorbing.

Would you spend a day at a lagoon-side wellness escape in Badagry, or do you need an actual resort with a pool?

I spent less than N30K to get to a resort with a second location on a lake and most people don’t even know this place exists.

This is @miadjoebresort Miadjoe Beach Resort and @miadjoe Restaurant in Aneho, Togo and it costs from N155,000 per night which is 59,000 FCFA

One of the questions I get the most is: “Do I really need a Yellow Card?”

I spent less than N30,000 on transportation to get to this beachfront resort in Togo that costs almost N200K per night and this is what it actually looked like.
