Forever grateful to Florida Health for booking me for the opportunity to share my story across three packed sessions in one day with their entire staff, as Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month came to a close and Breast Cancer Awareness Month continues. 🩵🩷
As my mother’s survivor & living legacy, I carry the weight of knowing that while my mother was slowly dying, I was being born & given the gift of life.
Cancer has taken so much, yet from grief and survivorship, it has birthed within me a tremendous sense of purpose. I cannot rewrite our story, but I can use it to educate, advocate, and help protect the lives of others.
The most meaningful moment of my day was hearing a young gentleman in the audience tell me that my mother would be proud of the woman I am today. 🥹 Because beneath every event I attend & every room I stand in, there is still just a daughter yearning to honor her mother through the life she leads.
Mom, this is for you. Always. 🩵

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to sit in on the last session, and let me just say… as a mother and someone with a healthcare background, your delivery was UNMATCHED! ❤️ You were created for these very moments, and it shows. You are a blessing the world needs to know about, so please keep going! Your mom may be your angel watching over you, but baby, YOU are an angel in real life! 🥹❤️ I look forward to watching your advocacy grow and seeing all the lives you’re going to touch. Keep walking in your purpose because what’s in you is bigger than you know! 🙏🏽
