Clayface by James Watkins

#CJSays Excellent! 5/5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is how you do a villain origin movie!

I admit, I'm not familiar with Clayface but I'm so interested in knowing his story!

The story revolves around Matt Hagen, an upcoming Hollywood leading man who is tragically cut short when the actions of a local crime boss leave him horribly disfigured, desperate to redeem his status and regain his physical appearance, Matt seeks out a cutting-edge treatment that miraculously returns him to his former self, but also affects his grip on reality, spiraling him down a destructive path of all-consuming revenge.

Tom Rhys Harries is impressive as Clayface, this will be his vehicle into superstardom, I can really feel his desperation and rage here and I would like to see him again in the sequel? Him let's see!

I love the OST used especially If You Leave Me Now! I'm so amazed as a non DC fan, I can't believe this is a Psychological Body Horror movie and we don't see this genre often in a DC movie!

The Body Horror sequence really made me feel squeamish and disturbed like it's so unhinge! I cannot!

Clayface is refreshing take on villain origin movie, if you love watching a villain origin story and body horror then you might be raving for this!
