Happy (belated) World Mentoring Day! 💜
We're celebrating with a big shout out to We Thrive, our artist development programme helping emerging and developing artists flourish.
Every artist is paired with an experienced mentor who helps them sharpen their practice, reach new audiences and plan their next big steps. On top of that, each artist receives a £1,000 development bursary to spend on equipment, training or brand new work!
This year's brilliant cohort of spoken word artists, drag performers, singers and musicians has been working with Portsmouth Pride, and it's been amazing watching their confidence and creativity soar.
Thank you to every mentor who gives their time to champion local talent. You make such a difference! Find out more at portsmouthcreates.co.uk/we-thrive
