🏆 We won 2 out of 3 awards at the DOK Leipzig pitching event! 🔥
Our project “Black Waters”, directed by artist and filmmaker Elza Gubanova and produced by Anastasiia Zakhilko, has received two awards at Short n’ Sweet, the industry programme of DOK Leipzig, the International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film! 🇺🇦🇩🇪
🏆 DAE Talent Encouragement Award - presented by the Documentary Association of Europe, this award includes a tailor-made mentoring session with a DAE Senior Consultant and one year of free membership in the association.
🏆 Ohrfilm Award - provides comprehensive music and sound support services for a short film, generously offered by Ohrfilm.
“Black Waters” is a hybrid short film exploring the Black Sea as a damaged ecosystem and a space of the unknown, connecting environmental destruction with the traumatic experience of war.
Huge congratulations to Elza, Anastasiia, and the entire project team! ❤️
We are grateful to DOK Leipzig, DAE, and Ohrfilm for their trust and support of Ukrainian cinema!🖤
