As I’m actively growing and rebuilding my network in a more purposeful and mutual beneficial way, I thought why not share my top tips for establishing a REAL connection with people 🔌💕

1. COME AS YOURSELF - This is your golden ticket!

If youre talkative come talkative but be open to listening .. if you’re shy come shy but not in a closed off way. You don’t want to build a connection that’s not authentic it’ll be too exhausting to maintain and there’s no benefit in that … your network should charge you 🔋

2. Be Genuine - this is where active listening comes into play, let getting to know the person feel like a natural conversation not a mini interview where boxes are being checked. Or you only being curious in what you can gain - that conversation will end abruptly!!

3. YOU DONT HAVE TO CONNECT WITH EVERYONE! - your network should consist of mutual beneficial relationships, not you begging and not someone else over extending only to your benefit…. There’s people you meet & there’s people you keep learn who’s who!
