I always ask myself, is it work if you love it??? I’m an artist and I’m sensitive about my shhhh haha. But really, I pray my work (from recaps, event highlights, branding and short form content) always evoke emotion, feelings of nostalgia and allows the person on the other side to reminisce times that passed but were unforgettable. That’s my why, what’s yours? 💕 The Power of One Degree ✨ People you should know: @lalovelyphotography thank you a million times for these photos and your contagious positive energy ✨ @socialmobilebarco @thethomas.family @bloomandgrazeco @b.teneille by @powerof1degree

Hi, I’m Keyouna 🌅☀️📸 If you’re new here welcome 😇 3 fun facts about me: 1. I’m spontaneous but logical 🪂 2. I graduate with a B. S in Mass Communications from VCU May 2027 (so I’m basically a professional communicator 😜) 3. I should be your event content creator at your next event because capturing your moments from yours or your guest POV is my fav thing to do 😘 When’s your next event? I’d love to be there 🥳 Check out my portfolio to learn more about what I do 💕 by @powerof1degree

Big moments, little moments .. they all deserve content that highlights the magic 💕 Today, I got capture another walkabout with VCU’s President Rao (3 peat 🥳) and it’s a reminder that the magic is often the moments happening in between the big ones. Whether you’re hosting a campus activation, pop up or intimate brand event, having an event content creator on site means: You can stay present while I capture the moments, interactions and details that keep your event going long after it ends ✨ Aka, you do you & I’ll add to it! 🤝🏾 That’s what I call team work & that’s The Power of One Degree 💕 When’s your next activation? #rva #eventcontentcreator by @powerof1degree
As I’m actively growing and rebuilding my network in a more purposeful and mutual beneficial way, I thought why not share my top tips for establishing a REAL connection with people 🔌💕 1. COME AS YOURSELF - This is your golden ticket! If youre talkative come talkative but be open to listening .. if you’re shy come shy but not in a closed off way. You don’t want to build a connection that’s not authentic it’ll be too exhausting to maintain and there’s no benefit in that … your network should charge you 🔋 2. Be Genuine - this is where active listening comes into play, let getting to know the person feel like a natural conversation not a mini interview where boxes are being checked. Or you only being curious in what you can gain - that conversation will end abruptly!! 3. YOU DONT HAVE TO CONNECT WITH EVERYONE! - your network should consist of mutual beneficial relationships, not you begging and not someone else over extending only to your benefit…. There’s people you meet & there’s people you keep learn who’s who! Follow for more networking & overall advertising yourself and or your businesses content ✨ That’s the Power of One Degree 💕 by @powerof1degree

ONE DEGREE x @thethomas.family BAR TAKEOVER 😂🥂 If you were at @socialmobilebarco’s launch event, then you remember THIS moment 😂 If you missed it? Don’t worry, I captured it for you to enjoy, too! 🥂- and it’s Madison (one of the owners) Approved ✅ And THIS is one of the things that sets hiring a content creator apart! 👀 Videographers and content creators both bring value, but at One Degree, we’re thinking beyond documenting what happened. We’re thinking about how to turn the energy, interactions, and unexpected moments into short-form content your audience can enjoy, share, and connect with. The goal? Create content that feels authentic to the experience, aligns with your brand, and keeps the conversation going long after the event ends. 💕 Event recaps are great (and always on the shot list 😉), but creating moments within the moment that turn into memorable, on-brand content? THAT’S where the magic happens! You create the moment. We make it content. That’s the Power of One Degree. Cheers! 🥂💕 by @powerof1degree

There are TWO ways to grow your following & visibility 1. POST 📲 2. GET IN THE FIELD (or in the COMMUNITY 👏🏽) There’s no cheat code to organic growth. You have to create opportunities for people to discover you, whether that means bringing your community to you or showing up where your community already is! At VCUDSA, we gained 35 new organic followers in a under 2 hrs just by showing up, engaging with students, and creating a moment of connection. 🔌 I love rallying people in spaces they’re already enjoying and turning that energy into visibility and momentum. Have an event, pop-up, or vending opportunity coming up? Want someone to create buzz, engage your audience, and promote your brand while you focus on running the show? 👀 Let’s talk! 💌 onedegreebranding@gmail.com This strategy can work in almost any setting where you can meet your audience, build connections, and turn real-life interactions into digital growth. That’s the Power of One Degree. 💕 by @powerof1degree
Almost felt like you were there right? That’s on purpose, when getting event content from pictures to videos I don’t capture to show “set up” (unless that’s the goal?) …. I capture to show who was there, how they felt being there and why whoever missed out would likely show up to the next one 💖 That’s The Power of One Degree 💓📸 When’s your next event? I’d love capture the energy 🍾 by @powerof1degree
