🗡️📖✨ In Claire E. Jones' world, queer characters get to be messy, powerful, heroic, deeply flawed, and deserving of love through all of it. Their identities aren't the conflict. They're simply part of richly complicated people navigating a fantastical world.

For GSBA member and author Claire E. Jones (@clairjoyance), creating that kind of representation is exactly why she started writing Threads of Destiny, her eight-book queer fantasy romance series.

And this Halloween, the story continues!

Releasing Saturday, October 31, The Knife in the Dark is the fifth installment in the series, exploring what happens when everyone needs something from you, but you're barely holding yourself together. It's a story of duty, survival, complicated love, and finding belonging even when you're carrying too much.

And for the romance readers? We've got found family, M/M romance, daddy issues, an evil ex, and grumpy/sunshine. 👀

Since launching in 2022, Threads of Destiny has reached readers in six countries, been picked up by bookstores across the U.S., and ranked #54 in its Ingram genre category.
