๐Ÿ—ก๏ธ๐Ÿ“–โœจ In Claire E. Jones' world, queer characters get to be messy, powerful, heroic, deeply flawed, and deserving of love through all of it. Their identities aren't the conflict. They're simply part of richly complicated people navigating a fantastical world. For GSBA member and author Claire E. Jones (@clairjoyance), creating that kind of representation is exactly why she started writing Threads of Destiny, her eight-book queer fantasy romance series. And this Halloween, the story continues! Releasing Saturday, October 31, The Knife in the Dark is the fifth installment in the series, exploring what happens when everyone needs something from you, but you're barely holding yourself together. It's a story of duty, survival, complicated love, and finding belonging even when you're carrying too much. And for the romance readers? We've got found family, M/M romance, daddy issues, an evil ex, and grumpy/sunshine. ๐Ÿ‘€ Since launching in 2022, Threads of Destiny has reached readers in six countries, been picked up by bookstores across the U.S., and ranked #54 in its Ingram genre category. ๐ŸŽƒ Hear from Claire about the stories she's bringing into the world, and preorder your copy of The Knife in the Dark ahead of its Halloween release! by @thegsba
๐ŸŽƒ The scariest thing this season? Having the talent, ambition, and drive to pursue your dreams, but not the money to make them happen. Tuition, textbooks, housing, groceries. The cost of education adds up quickly, and for too many students, financial barriers stand between them and the futures they're working toward. For 35 years, the GSBA Scholarship & Education Fund has invested in LGBTQ+ and allied scholars, helping turn potential into opportunity. We invest in their futures, they build careers on their own terms, and collectively we elevate our financial ecosystem. ๐Ÿ‘ป Now that's an investment worth making. This spooky season, $13, $31, $75, or $100 can help ease the financial burden of education. Pick your giving level and help ensure the next generation of LGBTQ+ and allied leaders has the opportunity to succeed. ๐ŸงŸ The cost of education is scary enough. Let's make the future a little less frightening. Support LGBTQ+ and allied rising leaders in our b!0. by @thegsba
