In 2024, Missouri voters repealed their state’s abortion ban at the ballot box. This election, they are being asked to vote on the abortion ban again, but this time, disinformation and fear about trans youth healthcare is being weaponized in an attempt to shift the vote and ban abortion in Missouri. Gender-affirming care for youth is already banned in the state, but the ballot initiative would enshrine the ban in the state constitution.
