Episode 2 of our documentary is now live on YouTube and it’s... kind of wild. If you want a BTS glimpse at the highs, the lows, the hard work and the mental breakdowns that have gone into our 0 Bond Street store, grab the popcorn and get comfortable.

Watch the full episode now at the link in bio.

Mainos @joensuu_idassa

No ka, tämmöstä myö täällä Joensuussa (meniks tää oikein??)😍

Lounaalla meidän vakkaripaikka on @heinosenleipomo 😍🤟🏼

Parasta lounasta, mut myös aivan liian hyvää leipää JA leivonnaisia.🤯😍

Täällä on muutenkin ihan mielettömästi erilaisia ruokapaikkoja. Yhtenä iltana käytiin maistelemassa Ramenia. 🍜

Ihan SUPER! Opittiin paljon Pohjois-Karjalan historiasta, mut samalla tosi tärkeää oppia Suomen historiasta. 🇫🇮

Nää Pohjois-Karjalaiset kansanasut oli mielenkiintoisia.

Jotenkin kiehtovaa nähdä, miltä suomalaiset naiset on näyttänyt.

Tää on kyl urheilukaupunki isolla U:lla. ⛹️

Meille suositeltiin testata täällä myös avantopaikat. Onttolassa sijaitseva Lykynlampi oli UPEA. Saunatilat UPEAT.

Ei voi olla palautumatta.😍😂

Toinen ihana avantopaikka on Vehkalahdessa, jossa toimii avantouintiseura Joensuun Jääkarhut.

Oon täällä tehnyt koiran kanssa pisimmät aamulenkit koskaan! 🐶❤️

Ei oo mulla kyl kotona lähellekkään näin upeita aamulenkkimaisemia. Ei ihme, et palautumisarvot on noussut raketin lailla, kun tulee tehtyä kaikkea tällästä rauhallisempaa tekemistä ihanissa maisemissa. 🍂

It’s called the mental load for a reason, because it’s truly a load.

There is so much to think about and plan and organize when it comes to running a household and raising kids. No wonder moms are burning out when they are the ones carrying the majority of it.

I choose to believe that there are many men in relationships with women who genuinely think that asking for a list is a normal and logical thing to do.

But it’s not the answer.

Frankly, it just adds more work to the plate of their partners. It’s just another thing to do. It’s another thing to remember.

Let’s stop assuming that every part of managing the household is a woman’s responsibility to begin with, and start having open honest conversations early on about what mental parts of managing the household can be redivided.

What things can you redivide at home? Do you struggle to talk about the mental load?

Comment “Honest Motherhood” and I will send you the link to my memoir where I share my own journey with breaking from carrying too much in motherhood.
