We are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of our beloved friend and legendary Armenian musician, composer, and cultural ambassador, Şahan Arzruni.

For over three decades, Şahan was a generous supporter, a trusted advisor, and a cherished member of the FAR community.
No doubt much will be written chronicling his illustrious career, but Şahan’s commitment to Armenian culture and FAR extended well beyond the concert hall. Those of us who were fortunate to know him will remember his passion for expanding Armenian culture and encouraging children throughout Armenia to preserve their strong heritage through music and the arts.
FAR’s team, together with hundreds of our beneficiaries, extends our deepest condolences to Şahan’s family. His dedication to Armenia will never be forgotten.
Şahan at Vanadzor Old Age Home, a FAR initiative he deeply loved and cared for.
