Today marks 16 years of being married and January marks 23 years of loving Chad.

We have grown through a lot of seasons together and one of the biggest things I’ve learned is that real relationships trigger you.

They will bring your insecurities to the surface. They will show you where you are still trying to control, where you still struggle to communicate your needs, and where old wounds are still running the show.

After 23 years we are still growing. Still learning. Still discovering new layers of ourselves and each other - and maybe that’s the most beautiful part of choosing the same person over and over again - you get to witness who they become while allowing yourself to become someone new too.
