You know how it goes. The gift list, the hosting, the family stuff and the feeling that if you don’t hold it all together, nobody will. By January you’re running on fumes and calling it a busy season.

The holidays don’t have to be a season of over-functioning, over-giving and overriding yourself. A lot of that pressure comes from what you believe you have to do. And your nervous system carries every bit of it.

In this workshop we will explore:

- The beliefs and expectations that make the holidays so stressful

- Simple somatic movement practices to help you regulate

- Reconnecting with yourself and what you actually need

- Practical tools to release the pressure and enjoy the

I’ll be teaching this workshop for @recoding.mindset on Sunday 11/15 1pm EST.

Every action you take is being driven by something.

And more often than we realize, it comes down to two things: love or fear.

Think about your daily habits.

Are you working out because you love and respect your body, or because you're afraid of what happens if you don't?

Are you saying yes because you genuinely want to, or because you're afraid of disappointing someone?

Are you working toward your goals because you're excited about what's possible, or because you're afraid you're not enough where you are?

Are you planning, preparing and controlling every detail because you feel empowered by it, or because uncertainty makes you uncomfortable?

The action itself isn't always the problem. It's the energy, belief or emotion driving it.

And here's why this matters:

You can build an entire life around habits that look healthy, productive and successful on the outside, while every single one is being fueled by fear.

Fear of failure.
Fear of rejection.
Fear of not being enough.
Fear of losing control.
Fear of disappointing people.

Eventually, you become so accustomed to operating from that place that you mistake survival strategies for your personality.

Transformation begins when you start getting curious about WHY you do what you do.

Not just what you're doing, but what's underneath it.

Because the goal isn't to stop taking action. It's to stop letting fear be the thing that dictates your life.

It's to learn how to make decisions from self-respect instead of self-rejection. To pursue growth from possibility instead of inadequacy. To create from desire instead of desperation.

Same habits. Different energy. Entirely different experience of life.

So here's something to ask yourself today:

Am I doing this because I love myself, or because I'm afraid of what it means if I don't?

That question alone can change the way you move through your entire day. by @evolvewithmelissa

So much of our energy gets wasted trying to control things that were never ours to control in the first place.

Other people's opinions, reactions, choices, timing, and outcomes.

But when you bring your attention back to what is within your control, you reclaim so much of your power.

Your attitude, your words, your actions, your effort, and your inputs.

You get to choose how you show up, what you put into the world, the energy you bring, and what you allow to influence you.

Stop spending your energy managing what you can't control and start taking radical responsibility for what you can. That's where real empowerment begins. by @evolvewithmelissa

You can’t keep choosing everyone else at your own expense and expect to feel connected to yourself.

Every time you silence what you want, override what you need, or say yes when your whole body is saying no, you reinforce the belief that keeping everyone else happy matters more than being honest with yourself.

Self-trust is built in the moments you’re willing to disappoint someone else rather than abandon yourself. by @evolvewithmelissa

Today marks 16 years of being married and January marks 23 years of loving Chad.

We have grown through a lot of seasons together and one of the biggest things I’ve learned is that real relationships trigger you.

They will bring your insecurities to the surface. They will show you where you are still trying to control, where you still struggle to communicate your needs, and where old wounds are still running the show.

After 23 years we are still growing. Still learning. Still discovering new layers of ourselves and each other - and maybe that’s the most beautiful part of choosing the same person over and over again - you get to witness who they become while allowing yourself to become someone new too.

Here’s to a love that gives us room to keep becoming and to choosing you @thechad1124 over and over again ❤️ by @evolvewithmelissa

You’ve been warned 😉✨🙏

Come as you are, leave a little more yourself ❤️ by @evolvewithmelissa

The common thread?

So many women aren’t struggling because they lack self awareness, discipline or the right tools - most are struggling because the very patterns they developed to feel safe, loved and worthy are now keeping them disconnected from themselves,

The work isn’t about becoming a better version of yourself - it’s about learning to stop abandoning the woman you already are.

That’s the work we do together inside my coaching - building an empowered mindset, embodied self trust, and the ability to create a life that actually feels aligned with you. 🫶 by @evolvewithmelissa

Meet Coach Melissa.

She was the responsible one.
The peacemaker.
The easy one.
Until she realized “easy” had cost her herself.

Now she coaches women who’ve given so much to everyone else that they’ve lost track of who they are without the doing.

Swipe to meet her.

Intimacy goes so far beyond the physical. 🤍

It’s in the little things that often go unnoticed… like making your partner a cup of coffee exactly how they like it, without being asked. It’s remembering the small details, noticing what makes their day easier, checking in when you know they’ve had a hard day, or doing something simply because you know it will make them smile.

Real intimacy is paying attention. It’s learning your partner in the everyday moments and showing them that they’re seen, heard, and cared for without them having to ask.

The deepest form of connection isn’t found in grand gestures or physical touch. It’s found in the quiet, consistent ways we say, “I know you, I think of you, and I want to make your life a little softer.”

That’s intimacy, too. ❤️
