Last Saturday’s Google Certified Trainer bootcamp with Happy2Host Africa was an absolute masterclass in instructional delivery and digital leadership!
Spending 9 full hours (from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) in a room with 30 passionate educators, guided step-by-step by Lawrence was an experience that was both deeply enriching and so much fun!
Here are the highlights that made this 9-hour session truly exceptional:
✓ The Mindset of a Trainer: We dove deep into the core philosophy of training analyzing the distinct traits of a good trainer vs. a bad trainer, focusing on how to lead with empathy, clarity, and impact.
✓ Rich, Agenda-Driven Structure: Lawrence followed a meticulously planned agenda bit by bit, ensuring every minute was packed with practical value.
✓ Deep Interaction & Brainstorming: It wasn't just a lecture; it was proper, active engagement! We had dedicated time to brainstorm, collaborate in pairs, and present our ideas to one another.
✓ Step-by-Step Template & Blueprinting: We worked through a detailed template mapping out the exact Google Certified Trainer application structure. Lawrence literally held our hands through every single prompt, giving us complete clarity on how to showcase our work.
✓ New Perspectives for Growth: Even as an experienced trainer, I walked away with so many rich, practical strategies to adapt into my own trainings moving forward!
Beyond the frameworks, Lawrence gave us something invaluable.... assurance and confidence that we have what it takes to step up and lead.
