Some of the best things I have done for my business would probably make a very efficiency-minded person twitch. 😂

I have gotten on planes for one dinner. Hosted events without knowing exactly what would come from them. Spent time making introductions that had nothing to do with an immediate sale. Sent gifts simply because I wanted someone to know I appreciated them.

And over time, those things have built relationships, trust, referrals, opportunities and a reputation that I could never have created with a perfectly optimized calendar.

I believe in efficiency. I also believe that some of the most valuable things in business take longer to reveal their return.
