Recovering from these fabulous Better Books 2026 shenanigans 1. @irene.rene.ren changing the way we look at poetry hell changing the way we look at words it was that good. 2. @sknigge schooling in the best way about making diverse characters while wearing a rainbow. 3. @chelseammoyer showing how to include gaps in our stories - a little bit life-changing. 4.Gary Schmidt reading from the first edition, Caldecott winner he found at @feldmansbooks bookstore. Boy did have fun there. 5. @irene.rene.ren sporting their name lanyard so fashionably. And finally 5. Fierce speed scrabble/banana grams. Also played Ransom Notes for a few hours.
