![A lot of people underestimated how deeply the RMG ecosystem was connected to Indian sports.
And weβre now seeing the impact. Pro Kabaddi League wonβt have a season in 2026, with the league struggling to secure a new broadcasting deal after its previous media rights agreement expired.
This isnβt just about one league missing a season. Itβs a reminder of how fragile the business side of Indian sports can be when the money, sponsors and broadcasting ecosystem donβt fall into place.
Indian sports needs more sustainable revenue models. The question is, are we building them?
