🌳Apply now – Ancestral Journey to Poland 2027 📷 Pictured here, a Yiddish feldmestn (cemetery measuring) ritual

Do you feel a pull to reconnect with your Ashkenazi Jewish heritage through the lens of collective liberation? Ashkenazi Ancestral Journeys is nourishing a new expression of diasporic Judaism beyond Zionism from the roots by restoring and healing our connection with the Jewish lands, ancestors, culture, history, rituals and traditions of Eastern Europe.

Imagine connecting with the place where your ancestors’ bones lie, learning nearly-forgotten Yiddish women’s ancestral connection rituals like feldmestn, and then using these technologies to deepen your relationship with your ancestors and the land. Here, a participant has found the overgrown grave of a great-great grandfather at Warsaw’s Okapowa Cemetery and is performing this ritual, supported by one of our facilitators and the rest of the participants. The string is then used as wick for candles that are lit in honor of the dead.

Ashkenazi Ancestral Journeys is seeking web weavers, seed spreaders, spiritual, cultural, and movement leaders, healers, creatives, teachers, writers, guides, activists, and other open-minded, compassionate souls to join this journey. 🌈 Is this you?🌈
