The @lesablier.watches Temporis Sauterelle is the result of founder Akbar Sattar’s decade-long quest to design his perfect jump hour watch. Featuring two stone dials and an openwork variant in a 39.5mm 904L stainless steel case, the modified Miyota-powered Temporis Sauterelle is also a jump-hour value at comfortably under $2,000. @mikesgotwatches has the full story over on aBlogtoWatch.

This is very different. I like the design language of this. I'm just looking at these images and wondering if it sits a little large on the wrist?

First time hearing of Le Sablier, and a name like Temporis Sauterelle already has my attention.

The jump hour spent a century as a rich man's novelty. A stone-dial one on a modified Miyota, under $2,000, is the complication gone democratic.
