This could’ve been the one that got away…
Mathis hooked an Ito in the lower Sarufutsu River at sunset.
Kanta missed the landing, and the fish went flying into the air.
Somehow… we still landed it.
One of those moments we’ll never forget.
逃げたと思った、その瞬間。
夕方の猿払川下流。
マーティスがイトウをヒット。
ガイドのカンタがランディングをミスして、イトウが宙を舞う。
それでも最後は無事キャッチ。
全員が叫んだ、最高の瞬間だった。
