Lewis and Hope are my favorites. Been on Lewis since they came out, they are amazing and a great value. Hope are a little better but 2x the cost. Only problem with Lewis is since they are still off-brand, getting spares can take a little more time than you want. I snapped a lever and a clamp bracket in a crash last year, took 3 weeks for replacement to arrive, which was frustrating.

I’ve got Lewis brakes on my bike, they feel very premium, very similar to my old Hope Tech 4s. If you like modulation get the Lewis, if you like braking as late and hard as possible get the Mavens

#Clique, former Turkey Leg Hut owner #LynnPrice is headed to federal prison after admitting he paid men to set his former business partner’s Houston bar on fire. Price was sentenced October 30 to eight years and nine months, followed by three years of supervised release. He pleaded guilty in June to conspiracy to commit arson. According to federal prosecutors, the owner of Bar 5015 had rejected Price’s offer to buy into the bar and refused to sell his stake in Turkey Leg Hut before the fire. On June 12, 2020, the men poured gasoline across the bar’s entrance ramp and deck, set it on fire and fled. One later called Price to report the job was done, and Price paid them. The fire badly damaged the business and endangered nearby homes and businesses. Four other men have pleaded guilty and are awaiting sentencing. HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Fallen Angels, our new single “GOIN’ BLIND” is out now across all streaming platforms. It is the first release of LUCIFER’s new chapter and just a tiny taste of something bigger that is coming in 2027. I have always felt this KISS song in particular, especially since seeing Gene singing it album-perfect aboard the KISS KRUISE, while we were leaving the port of Miami, his heavy bass pounding. It really got to me that day and choked me all up. Haunted by this number ever since, I incorporated it into our live set quite a bit lately, seemingly to the delight of the Fallen Angels and us!! We love playing it! On our recent Spanish tour we had a day off, so I booked a studio for us to spontaneously record it. When producing the song I deliberately went off LUCIFER’s beaten path to sonically fully embrace some of my 90s coming-of-age ultra faves like TYPE O NEGATIVE and DANZIG, who have been essential in shaping my morbid tastes and therefore LUCIFER to this day.
