The only enemy is me.
That’s the hardest and most freeing thing I’ve ever learned. People will lie, cheat, and steal to protect their ego. They’ll make the person across from them the villain in a story that was always about themselves.
The truth is there’s no external enemy. The voice in your head is a liar. The problem was always you. The problem was always me.
At Common, that’s the code. Do more. Be better. Protect and more importantly accept the people behind you. Do the right thing.

There will be new faces in the parking lot. We define our future by how we show up for them.
