One of the action takers who was arrested today after destroying military satellites bound for Israel, explained why they took direct action.

As well as being the 109th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, today also marks one year since Palestine Action prisoners began a collective hunger strike.

The direct action movement hasn't wavered despite the increased repression.

Gina Hinojosa has defeated Gov. Greg Abbott in the Texas governor’s race, a stunning outcome that ends three decades of Republican control in Texas and makes her the first Latina to ever lead the state.

“Here’s what Texas said today, loud and clear: Your government belongs to you,” said Hinojosa in her victory speech. “As your governor, I will never forget it.”

“It has been the joy of my life to have the opportunity to be the governor of the great state of Texas,” Abbott said during his concession speech. “There are still votes to be counted, but mathematically, we are not going to be able to win this election.”

Honda is making a fresh start in the electric SUV space and it’s putting India right at the centre of it.

Meet the Honda ALPHA, the manufacturer’s upcoming all-electric SUV. First showcased as a concept at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, it will make its global debut in India on 2 December 2026.

More importantly, India will be the global production base for the SUV. This is a significant move for Honda, which has been relatively quiet in the EV space so far.

The big question now is what makes it from this concept to the production car. We’ll know more in December.
