A Resting Place and Monday Sundae invites you to join us for Undas programming on November 1st (All Saints Day) and November 2nd (All Souls’ day). In the Philippines, Undas is a time to remember dead friends, family, and ancestors through community connection, celebration, and culture. Join ARP and Monday Sundae in offering photos, sacred items, flowers, to our community altar/atang (food offering). Filipino snacks provided! ❤️🕯️🍂

Monday Sundae is the creative project from JM Lee, Seattle chef and creative; It’s goal is to celebrate and uplift the talents of friends around the city. This year’s Undas Altar is a follow up from last year’s collaboration with Pan De La Selva celebrating Dia de los Muertos. Monday Sundae’s altar is a container for grief, memory and communion. You are invited to bring items, not only represent loved ones passed, but as a container for grief, for separation and departure of all kinds. ❤️🕯️🍂

This Undas season, we share in the painful grief many of us carry in our hearts due to ongoing ICE abductions in our immigrant communities, active genocides in Palestine, Sudan, and Congo, and ongoing violence against Black and brown queer/trans communities around the globe. As we continue to hold all the losses together, may we also hold each other tighter in love and care. This Undas season, may the memory and wisdom of all our ancestors move us closer to liberation, closer to the world we are fighting for! ❤️🕯️🍂
