Tomorrow Nan Na opens her exhibition ‘A Space to Wait In’ at
@officinet in Copenhagen 🤍🎉
An exhibition about fertility, hope and radical care.
“Exploring the fragile realities of fertility treatment, the art installation ‘Et Rum At Vente i’ (Danish for ‘A Space to Wait In’) uses large quilted works, beds and moving curtains to reflect on waiting, repetition and uncertainty. Presented at Officinet, it draws on the aesthetics of clinical care, using textiles and shifting layers to create a space that moves between intimacy and exposure, vulnerability and care.” –
@rum_id During the exhibition, Jacob Bellens, Barbro and opera singer Katinka Fogh Vindelev will perform mini-concerts for just four people at a time, lying in the beds. Dates to follow.
Opening: Friday 30 October, 16–20
