TRICK R TREAT 🎃🐺 Laurie and Sam 🐺🎃 (Trick R treat spoilers ahead) My favourite scene from my favourite Halloween film, Trick R Treat, is when we realise Laurie (Anna Paquin) is actually a werewolf. One of my favourite scenes of any horror film! (I realise I look more like a vampire but I’m actually transitioning into a wolf). And Sam is one of our favourite ever Halloween icons. My full outfit is from Vinted except the tights which are from @snagtights , the shoes which I’ve had for years, and the teeth and contact lenses. If you’ve never seen the film or don’t know who I’m trying to be, see my stories! We’re not actually watching it tonight as we’ve seen it too many times, but you should watch it as day 31 of @softxdeath’s 31 days of Halloween! This is also to take part in @nebulow’s #HalloweenWithME #TrickRTreat #LaurieTrickRTreat #Samhain #Halloween Werewolf
You don’t need everyone to believe in you, you just need the right one. 🧽💯 Aaron Krause invented Scrub Daddy, and a Fortune 500 company passed on it. The sponge sat forgotten in a box for years. When he finally pitched it on Shark Tank, most of the sharks passed too. Lori Greiner didn’t. She invested $200,000 for 20%, valuing the company at about $1 million. Today Scrub Daddy has done more than $1 billion in sales and is widely called the biggest success in Shark Tank history. Most people won’t see your vision. Family, friends and coworkers will call it crazy, too small or a waste of time. That’s normal. They’re judging what it is today, not what it could become. You don’t need a crowd. You need one or two people who believe in you, and the work ethic to prove them right. Stop waiting for everyone to get it. One yes can change your entire life. “Perhaps our greatest resource has never been beneath us. It has always been within us.” 🇳🇬 Nigerian spoken-word artist @ibquake brought a message to Africa at the opening ceremony of the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games: the continent’s greatest strength lives in its people. As Senegal hosted the first Olympic sporting event on African soil, her words celebrated Africa’s roots, imagination and future. Swipe to meet the voice behind the moment and watch her message in two parts. 🎥 @olympics @jojdakar2026 📸 @identity.visual / @captured_bydjibril
