Dynastar

Bib 46. Twelfth place. First World Cup points.
A year ago, Freddy Carrick-Smith made his World Cup debut on this very glacier.
On Sunday he started 46th, stood 21st after the first run, then skied the fifth-fastest second run of the day to climb nine places.
Nineteen years old, fully committed from the first gate to the last.
That kind of leap is built by a whole team behind the athlete, and by skis and boots that let him trust every turn at full speed.
The first points are only the beginning.
