What kind of dancer were you?…. “barre along the wall” girl or a “barre in the middle of the studio” girl?! 🩰

Because I swear this was a VERY important decision every ballet class.

I was always a barre along the wall girl.

And now that I’m taking ballet again, it’s funny how quickly all those little habits come back. Suddenly I’m right back to old barre spot 😂

Former dancers, I NEED to know which barre you were claiming 👇🏻

Make sure you’re following for more of my ballet journey and if you’ve been asking about my ballet outfits, comment BALLET + I’ll send you links to all my favorites

Hey there😏

Всегда делаю так, как хочу

First two sides slides 2026, last slide was about 15 years ago. My respect for movement and my ongoing love affair for challenge sit right in the in between. ♡

Somewhere awhile ago I started to see the body as the home to my mind. The two work in tandem and it’s our vessel yall. I wanna enjoy it in here, I wanna decorate, I wanna expand the rooms!!!!
It always ignites me to get even more curious about how I can get to know it better, bring it to literal new heights, or zero in on what it is I need in each season. They’re always different too, but this is no longer a season for me and it’s been a lifelong agreement and dedication that takes me just about everywhere if I follow the inkling. The last couple months, I hesitantly dared to re arrange routines to reach different goals and its helped me become so comfortable with the uncomfortable. Physically and mentally, I’ve never been stronger in my convictions or pivoting. I’ve absolutely loved new places, the people, and the variety of other possibilities it’s opened up omg. Its allllll about the continuous wake up, the follow up n the surprise level up

If working with sick dogs has taught me anything in life it is that we should all try and live in the moment and do more of what we enjoy.

When I was in ICU battling for my life after depression and addiction I told myself if I got another chance I wouldn’t ever be afraid of failure ever again and I’d forget about possessions and the traditional things the world tells us we need to have or do in order to be happy.

All I could think of was either teaching sport to kids or spending time with dogs. I had no idea that change in outlook would lead me to being with dogs in the way I am now and having such a mission.

Its really hard being caught up in the rat race of life with bills, traffic, health issues, social expectations, stress, anxiety, addiction, missed opportunities, lack of options and every other thing that life throws at us all. I feel so blessed to be able to do what I do. The only small bit of advice I can give is to try and do more of what you love as soon as you can. It could be learning photography, traveling to a new country, getting a dog, opening a cafe or playing sports you loved when younger. Just try and be kind to yourself and do more of what you love.

Big love ❤️
