Ares Diver 1 as we continue #militarywatchweek. Ares Watch company was founded to design watches that could withstand the rigors of active lifestyles like the military and first responders. This may not be a big name a lot of people know, but I know this watch has a loyal following in the military.

This watch features a countdown bezel. Most dive bezels tell you how long you have been underwater. Countdown bezels are designed to tell you how much time you have left.

I finally found a location with orange cones still out and so for me #orangeconewednesday is going to be on Thursday.

The terrible Wristie shot is with Tim, one of the supervisors at the rescue service. You know I have told you that people leave lost items up on the posts near the entrances and he saw me taking a photo there of the watch asked me if I had found it. I told him no, and that started a long discussion about watches, currents, and ocean rescues. Today was his 43rd anniversary - Happy Anniversary - and he was wearing the Rolex watch his wife gave him as a wedding present 43 years ago.
