A pretty hotel can still be the wrong hotel. A good travel agent spends time figuring out what you don’t see in the pretty photos.

I’m looking at recent reviews, the actual location, room categories, renovations, resort fees, service, what’s included, what isn’t… and whether the hotel actually makes sense for your trip.

Because a hotel can have gorgeous rooms and a 5-star rating and still be a terrible fit for what you’re looking for.

And sometimes the hotel I recommend isn’t the one with the prettiest Instagram feed, but the one I know you’re going to come home raving about.

That’s the difference between booking a hotel and having someone actually help you choose one.
