If you’ve never worked with a travel advisor before, there are probably a few things you don’t know about how this whole process works, and that’s okay.

You don’t need to have your destination picked out.
You don’t need a Pinterest board with 47 hotels saved.
You don’t need to know exactly what you want.

Tell me what you do know, what you absolutely don’t want, your budget, your priorities, and I can work from there.

Most importantly, when something goes wrong, you’re not just another booking number to me. I know how much you’ve looked forward to this trip, and I genuinely care when things don’t go according to plan.

So if you’ve always wondered what it’s actually like to work with a travel advisor… hopefully this gives you a little peek behind the curtain. 🤍 by @bookingwithbaylee

If I were planning your first trip to Bali, this is the route I’d send you on..

✨ Ubud — jungle, rice terraces, culture, temples + wellness
🌊 Nusa Dua — beautiful beaches, luxury resorts + a little R&R
🍸 Canggu — beach clubs, restaurants, cafés + a more laid-back vibe

Three very different sides of Bali, without trying to cram the entire island into one trip.

Save this one for your Bali inspo 😍 by @bookingwithbaylee

A pretty hotel can still be the wrong hotel. A good travel agent spends time figuring out what you don’t see in the pretty photos.

I’m looking at recent reviews, the actual location, room categories, renovations, resort fees, service, what’s included, what isn’t… and whether the hotel actually makes sense for your trip.

Because a hotel can have gorgeous rooms and a 5-star rating and still be a terrible fit for what you’re looking for.

And sometimes the hotel I recommend isn’t the one with the prettiest Instagram feed, but the one I know you’re going to come home raving about.

That’s the difference between booking a hotel and having someone actually help you choose one. by @bookingwithbaylee

If you told me you’re going to Switzerland for the first time, here’s where I’d send you 👇🏼

🇨🇭 Lucerne — Perfect if you want the classic Swiss experience without being completely in the mountains.

🏔️ Wengen — This is where I’d send you if scenery is the priority. Think car-free streets, dramatic peaks, and postcard-worthy views everywhere you turn.

⛰️ Grindelwald — Beautiful, modern and very “I came to Switzerland for the mountains.”

🏔️ Zermatt — Classic Swiss luxury in a completely car-free village, with the Matterhorn as the obvious main character.

🍷 Montreux — I’d especially consider this for couples. Lake Geneva, vineyards, French influence and a slower, more romantic feel.

✨ St. Moritz — This is the pick when luxury is just as important as the mountains.

🌴 Lugano — Perfect if you want something a little unexpected. Italian influence, palm trees, Lake Lugano and a warmer, more relaxed feel.

🏙️ Zurich — I wouldn’t necessarily spend your whole Switzerland trip here—but I’d happily give it a night or two at the beginning or end.

And no, you don’t need to see all of Switzerland on your first trip.

You need to see the right parts of Switzerland for you.

That’s the part I love helping with. Tell me what kind of trip you want, and I’ll tell you where I’d send you. 👀 by @bookingwithbaylee

If you’re new here, hi! I’m Baylee — the face behind Booking with Baylee. 🤍

I’m a wife to Matt, mom to Collins & Brooks, and dog mom to our mischievous mini Aussie, Sully.

I’m also a travel advisor who is a little obsessed with finding the right hotels, local spots, and experiences for my clients. My most recent trip was Greece — Santorini, Paros, Naxos & Athens. Next up: Jamaica!

When I travel, I’m learning. I visit hotels, experience destinations, find the places worth knowing about, and bring that firsthand knowledge back to my clients.

My background is in nursing— specifically pediatric oncology and community mental health. That background has given me a pretty strong perspective on just how precious time and memories are. It also taught me a lot about problem-solving, attention to detail & organization— to name a few!

Matt and I believe our kids’ childhood is also our parenthood. We don’t want to wait for “someday” to make memories, so we travel with them whenever we can.

And that’s really why I believe in travel so much.

It’s not just about where you go. It’s about who you’re with, what you experience, and the memories you get to keep.

That’s what I want to create for my clients, too. So welcome, to each of you (new or not) — I’m happy you’re here & I’m ready to help make your travel dreams come true. by @bookingwithbaylee

If destinations had dating profiles… which would you be swiping right on? 😅

Some are high maintenance. Some are expensive. Some will make you walk up a hill for absolutely no reason. And some will have you planning your next trip before you’ve even made it home.

But honestly, choosing a destination is kind of like dating. What’s a great fit for one person might be a total miss for someone else.

That’s also why I don’t think there’s one “best” destination. It depends on what you actually want out of the trip, how you like to travel, your budget, who you’re traveling with, and about a hundred little things that don’t always show up in a Google search or on your TikTok feed.

And if you have no idea who your travel type is yet, that’s kind of my thing. 🤍 by @bookingwithbaylee
