Congrats Harry Cane on the Ballon d’Or win!

Painted this with lovely paint supplies I get at the one and only @jerrysartarama using @turnercolourworks @charvinarts on a plain old paper coaster.

NFL is back! Excited to have games back on the tv again. Here’s a look back at my Super Bowl artwork for the @patriots last season. I had a tight turnaround on this one. I found a way to turn this into an original painting that was shown as part of an interview with @wmur9. The original 16x20 painting will be on display at the @patriotshall all season long too. Then it will come back home to me.

Even though the likeness didn’t work on this Lramer portrait, I still like the brushwork and textures that happened. All done by hand with the great paint supplies I get at the one and only @jerrysartarama using @turnercolourworks @charvinarts on a plain old paper coaster.

Remembering another great artist today. The inimitable, Jimi Hendrix has always had a profound influence on my work. The approach he took sonically inspired me visually like so many countless others. It’s a tragedy his life was cut so short as are all untimely passings. Here was an extraordinary artist with an utterly unique voice with sound, lyricism, and production. I can only imagine what might have been. In a blink of an eye. Life and death is like that. Till we meet again.

rest in peace Mr. Cullen. You had a huge impact on so many including myself. Sorry to hear of his passing. You are a legend, and thank you for being such a good ambassador for Transformers fans everywhere. Some artworks I’ve made of the great Optimus Prime.

Time lapse process for my latest poster for the @detroitlionsnfl. Thanks to the @49ers for having me illustrate the entire season last year! The Arizona game day illustrations came in handy for this Lions poster against the Cardinals. I had to edit out half a second that showed other top secret posters yet to be revealed. I then knock one area out at a time or similar sections like jerseys or flesh tone, use a base color or a ground color, flats or not. At this point, process changes more due to mood than anything. The results are the same either way.

All of these projects are incredibly inspiring, and I’m grateful to have such great opportunities like this. Big thanks to all the creatives that have had the trust to work on these big brands over the years. 🫡
