The colors, pattern, and light in Morocco are a major inspiration! Join me and @augustwren as we bring a bit of Morocco to you with our next Zoom workshop.
Here’s a mix of both of our paintings. Pattern is everyehere!

I took a white dress with me to Morocco, intending to take these kinds of photos to paint from. Here’s the first one that I finished. Swipe to see a bit of the process

@augustwren and I are now in Marrakech after over 3 weeks in Morocco teaching our @uptrekcom retreats
Here’s some of what I painted
Folds on fabric and water were requested from me on both retreats and I found myself embracing my fashion illustration roots more than usual!
I am very tired and wish I could be like I dream of Jeanie and blink myself home
One more day and we’re planning to go tomorrow to draw at @elfennmarrakech !
Everything is painted with #acrylagouache @turnercolourworks

🎏numb🎏 Got some painting in as I lose feeling in my legs. The heaviness reminds me of spending a month in inpatient relearning to walk years ago. I’m just doing what I can to stay distracted through the pain and symptoms that refuse to go away as I wait for dr. appointments. One day at a time…and hoping pigment and paper keeps me distracted.

Acrylic gouache, ink and pencil on arches.

Using @turnercolourworks gouache. It’s been awhile since using another medium since digital, but I really have been enjoying it. Love these. Been so fun ! #art #illustration #drawing #イラスト　#アート by @turnercolourworks
