What do you do when you have a 40 year old denim jean jacket, that has been an integral part of your wardrobe and identity but despite its historical ruggedness needs some architectural support to help it carry on? You bring it to House Of Couchie….I’m not gonna lie this bad boy jacket was a dream to work on. I lovingly restored the collapsed neckband, the botton holes that were only a single thread left, the pockets that were in serious risk of falling out. And cuffs that were simply shrinking from wear and tear. And still this jacket was cool. The kind of cool that only adventures provide. Well worth the restoration and the smile on the owners face told me everything. Some days the joy of saving clothing is uncontainable.
