You’ve made it to November! And I know some of you are looking at the calendar wondering where the year went. You had plans in January. You had dreams you thought would be accomplished by June. You had prayers you expected God to answer before September. And now you’re standing in November, looking at everything that hasn’t happened, wondering if you’ve run out of time. But don’t you dare confuse a delayed expectation with a defeated destiny! Just because your year hasn’t unfolded the way you imagined doesn’t mean God has abandoned what He started!

You’ve got two months left, but you’ve still got breath in your body, strength in your hands, and purpose in your spirit! Stop mourning the months you cannot get back and start maximizing the moments you still have! Finish the assignment. Make the decision. Release the distraction. Stop dragging yesterday’s disappointment into tomorrow’s opportunity! You cannot move forward while constantly looking backward. God didn’t bring you this far for you to surrender to a calendar! The year may be coming to an end, but your purpose is still unfolding. Don’t count yourself out just because the clock is running!

In sad news, Marcel Johnson, the Michigan husband and dad who invited the Internet along on his cancer journey, has died.

His wife, Taylor Johnson, shared the news on Facebook, writing that he passed on Nov. 2 at 4:45 p.m.: “I lost a whole entire half of me. He fought so hard for so long.”

Marcel and Taylor own Lil Daddy’s Cheesecakes in Mount Clemens, Michigan. After he was diagnosed with stomach cancer, Marcel decided to document his journey via live stream and social videos. For about a year, he documented the appointments, the chemo, the hard conversations with his children and the small wins, and a huge online family formed around him. People donated and rallied to try to get him to City of Hope for possible experimental care.

In early October, he posted a photo from his bed with the caption, “I’m dying.”

Taylor shared that in his final day, the only words he said were “I’m ready to go,” and still he fought to hang on a little longer so they could have more time. She wrote that life “will absolutely never ever be the same.”

His story was everywhere in the internet as he touched so many people. Praying for Taylor, his children and everyone who loved him. Rest in peace, Marcel. 🕊️🖤

Cold plunges should be ILLEGAL because WHATTTTT?! 😩😂 I swear my foot experienced hypothermia after that first dip! ❄️😰🥶

Have you ever done a cold plunge? If not, would you consider it?
