I think they’re screwed. They were great a few yrs ago when mookie Freddie teoscar and muncy were banging 30 plus homers a year and of course shohei. Was hitting 50. None of the above can play 5x a week anymore. None will make another all star team except maybe shohei. Further. U can’t get even 20 decent starts out of glasnow or snell. Steal a base?? Joke. Will smith?? An old 31. They may get to 90 plus wins, but won’t make it past the first round. They spent their was on the back to backs, and now , we get to watch guys who can barely hit .250 and will struggle to hit 20 homers. Good luck with that.

I think James Tibbs lll is a better fit because he can play first base and the outfield.

They should trade Teoscar and get Sato to play 3rd so Muncy can split his time between 3rd, 1st, and the bench. Freeman and Muncy need to share more time at first next year. The Dodgers also need a SS so Betts can move to 2nd. They could use JDP and/or Sirota in LF and occasionally both of them giving Pages or Tucker a break. Alex Call needs to vacate his spot in the OF for a call up.

This sounds ridiculous but they’ll have to load manage both Freddie and Betts during the regular season. The coaching staff mentioned this was the plan for at least Freddie this season but I never saw it happen.
