the first time I opened figma, I clicked around, sighed and left. Now, I can create amazing brand identities like this!

As a brand strategist, I love love ideating and conceptualizing and building worlds based on human behavior and disrupting status quos, but it was getting to a point that I had to start putting actual work behind my grand ideas. I have become an absolute savant at Canva, but my professional peers weren’t using that and so my skills gap reached its cap.

And in entered @ilovecreatives! In this graphic design course, they taught us all the usual suspects of design including figma, photoshop and illustrator and it was so much fun and wayy easier than whatever I would have tried to teach myself via youtube. @punodostres has the best personality to teach something to an absolute beginner and the TA’s are there to add that flair of challenge for those who need it. I abs recommend the course to anyone who’s looking to deepen their design skills and build out a portfolio of their ideas.
