You see, it turns out that there are basically no regulations limiting the size of the enormous SUVs that are driving around and endangering more and more people in the name of profit. Because, given the choice, most of us wouldn’t opt to hop in a tank every morning - but with adverts everywhere on our streets, TV shows, sometimes even in secret, more and more of us are making that choice.
What that means is that the car manufacturers are making greater profits while your nan can’t get parked outside Tesco Express.
If you’d like your nan (and possibly you) to, then consider signing Clean Cities and Adfree Cities’ petition to get SUV ads off all the walls, fairer parking systems and child visibility tests. (Ad)

I got a compact SUV when I had a baby simply because I felt like I was going to get SQUASHED on the road but all the huge Land Rovers. But honestly would happily back banning enormous cars on the road.

How anyone can even fathom buying one of these after the tragic incident at the Study school in Wimbledon a few years back is beyond me. They’re just killing machines.

And their excuse for crumple zones was to help pedestrians not die Vs the old solid chassis and square body types 🤦♀️ now they are just making cars so big you can't see the kid running behind your car. Most folk don't even need a 4x4, they need a hatchback or a saloon at best. FFS my old trafic is a whole house inside 😂
