Political & International Studies Department - LAU

POLIS is proud of our student Yara Ellieh, who spent UN Day 2026 with UN Women Lebanon as part of a joint youth initiative organized by the United Nations in Lebanon and the Lebanese Ministry of Culture 🇺🇳

Throughout the day, Yara took part in discussions on women’s political participation, economic empowerment, peacebuilding, and the role of advocacy in driving change. She also met Ms. Gielan Elmessiri, UN Women Representative in Lebanon.

Wishing you continued success, Yara 🌟!
