Some of you act like every man over 60 is sitting in a recliner watching Wheel of Fortune, waiting for someone to bring him his Metamucil.

Meanwhile, there are 70-year-old men hiking mountains, traveling the world, running businesses, and living their absolute best lives and there are 35-year-olds who need a recovery day after going to Costco.

AGE IS NOT AN ACTIVITY LEVEL.

32 years since my Daddy died.
Imagine how much he has missed -
Much of it wasn’t necessary to see,
But he would have loved days like today.

imagining just this - the rising up of people,
taking back the reins,
banding together with action and renewed hope.
He wanted the best for our country.
He believed in the power of the people.

Today we celebrate this great blue victory in America.
He would be so happy to see this.
I think of my Daddy with each piece of news I read.
Election results, celebration, the start of a new chapter.
